Default New C&C Squareback

Purchased a new C&C Squareback. Question for any C&C seat owners. In the front of my new seat there is a slight bump. I think it is the bolt head that holds on the front bracket. When I push on the front of the seat I can feel the bolt, which is not a big deal, but I suppose it could cause a wear spot over time. Not sure if you had noticed the same thing with your seat or not? Either way, it's 100 times better than the badlander seat that I had.

I have 2 of them and I don't have that issue on either. Just call them up and ask the question. I'm sure they will work it out with you. I've had nothing but positive things to say about the company.

I can see the bump in the pics. Definitely have them change it out.

I have the C&C Squareback now and don't have any bump......just padding in the area you show in the picture.

I have the SportTourer on my StreetGlide and it has NO BUMP. In your photo I can see a "bump" in the nose of the seat about where the kids would ride. If that is the place where you are feeling the "bump" then there is something wrong with that seat. Call Chuck today and I am SURE he will tell you he will replace the saddle. You shouldnt feel anything in that area except padding.

Thanks for all the feedback, which was very helpful. I’m used to companies becoming defensive and forcing me to prove that they made a mistake which was why I wanted to get some feedback from other C&C seat owners. Turns out C&C isn’t one of those companies. I contacted Chuck and he said that they normally use a smaller bolt for the Softails with 200mm tire, and that they must have mistakenly used the larger bolt. He’s sending me a return label and will be changing it out. Says a lot about a company in how they resolve issues, and they have my complements on how they’re fixing this one. Going to be hard going back to the badlander for a few days.

Awesome!! I knew they would take care of it. Between them and the fellows at J&S jack, I've never been impressed by any other companies in this country like these two companies.
