Default SE Slipons and remapping?

If you use SE slipons and no other changes, do you have to remap the ECM?

Thanks

Not according to my dealer. They advised that it should run just fine and it does. It certainly didn't stop the parts department from telling me I had to purchase the download and a/c.

Well KeithB, my local dealer is offering to fit Remus slip-ons to '07 bikes without any further mod being needed - the saleswoman I deal with actually sounded pleased that it was a cheaper option, for once.

I was told no, and rode around about 500 miles befor I had stage 1 done. The guy at the dealer said "I never saw slip-ons ruin a motor" then we had a chuckle.

I have SE IIs, they are supposed to be "Off Road" only.

Well, I don't think they are loud at all. Very mellow, but crisp sounding. My 6 year old and I can talk while cruising. Now under a bridge I have to throttle it for her, she loves that sound. But it does sound good when I do it!

If you mess with the air filter, you are going to have to adjust the ECU maps. The VE tables will be off in closed loop at cruise speeds.

I think they are okay, but I prefer Vance and Hines. A bit louder on my young ear drums...
