Paris France? Don't do it - roads are crap and the traffic is the worst. You'll not enjoy the experience - if you got to have two-wheels find a scooter hire company

 

I have ridden many many times in France but not Paris so you can can take from this what you want ! .... The French drive as if there is no reason not to thrash the **** off the car's ..... they will come right up behind you and i mean behind you ... if you think you can handle it all well and good but i'll tell ya it ain't no Sony playstation game .... now you have had experience in the States ridin but i'll tell ya you will be ill prepared for the way of French ..... Ride outside Paris and your chances of useing the return ticket are good !

 

Paris is a wonderful city but not to ride a bike in if you are unfamiliar with where you are going. The French approach driving with a different flair. If you really want to ride take the time to head to Normandy and rent there.

 

EagleRiders big website .big outfit has rentals all over the EU including Paris and they rent other brands than just Harley ..rental can be arranged from here online ..blah blah ....BUT like the others said playing tag with froggy drivers in a roundabout where you are IT is no fun ... bikes in general and harleys in particuler seem to have a target or a bounty on them or it is just the french national sport to kill bikers ...was riding through paris early on a sunday morning ..on a freeway ...one other car on the road ..and he made a direct attempt to put that car into the side of my leg ...........

 

scooters are the norm and the drivers are crazy

 

Nobody would willingly go to Paris. People get sent there or something.
