Your local Yamaha dealer and the one here must be related. Their attitude is to fix it till it's broke. They also charge about $15/hr more than the nearest HD dealer.

It's funny, why would the Yamaha dealer be busy??? I thought rice burners never broke down!

Nice to hear that but to be objective, this same story could be reversed I'm sure at a different place. Attitudes can vary from dealership to dealership.

LAST MAY, FLAT ON THE REAR OF MY UC..70 MI FROM MONROE, LA....CALLED A TOW TRUCK AND BLEU BAYOU HD IN MONROE. TOLD THE DEALER OF MY PROBLEM (IT WAS ON A SATURDAY) THEY WERE WAITING FOR ME AND KEPT A GUY ON TO CHANGE THE TIRE. 45 MIN AND i WAS ON MY WAY, DISCOUNT ON TIRE TOO

Bad dealers aren't just limited to Harley dealers...As much as people on this site bash Harley Dealers...I think they will find fault with dealers in any kind of retail franchise...But it is a sport or just more fun to bash Harley dealers.
