Default Disappointed with Longhorn HD in Grand Prairie, Texas

I was out shopping for some new HD shirts. Replacing my 3XL with XL since I have lost over 100 LBS! So I decided to go to some of the Harley stores in the DFW metro area and get a couple from each one. When I went into Longhorn HD, which was always my favorite dealer in the area, the t-shirts were $10 per shirt higher than all the others! I mentioned it to the girls and they said yeah, we know, like it is no big deal. So when I got home I posted this on the Facebook page of Longhorn HD and asked, What's the deal? Instead of addressing it, they just deleted my post! Paying $25 for a t-shirt is bad enough, but $35..and the long sleeve was $44. I guess I will go for the Hanes plain pocket T's at Walmart that sell for 4 shirts for $11!

congrats on losing the weight, Im also down to a xl (sometimes 2x) from losing a bunch of weight. I just had a great experience with them over the net/email. They had a helmet I was looking for and it was a decent price and I asked if they would consider discounting more. The lady (Randa) emailed back pretty fast and said they would take another $20 off. Guess they have more to work with in the helmets

Congrats on the weight loss, that is awesome! I haven't been to any other HD shops besides my local so I have no basis for comparison. But I can tell you my local shop's prices are more than I want to pay for a t-shirt, and their shop shirts and others are just frickin' ridiculous. In fact the only HD shirt I have is the one they gave me when I bought the bike, and I've never even worn it once.

The HD store in Manhattan had expensive Ts when I was there last fall. I didn't question it. Just put it down to being in New York!

Yeah. HD clothing is expensive. Always has been, probably always will be. Like you said...go to walmart.

Like I said in my post, they have always been my favorite dealer, bought my bike there also. I know HD clothing is over priced anyway, just can't see why they charge $10 more per shirt than Fort Worth HD.

If you bought a new bike while you were there maybe they would have given you a free shirt.

If people would stop buying their overpriced clothing, they would lower their price. The problem is they won't.

True! I walked out without buying. No way will I pay $35 for a T-Shirt! But as you say, there are many that will pay that price.
