Anytime Shades ... legit but slow to deliver
Anyone have any luck ordering from these guys? AnytimeShades
I ordered some glasses from them on 11/3/06, they billed my card shortly afterwards, to date no packages. Left 2 voice mails and have sent numerous e-mails asking for status...No replys or call backs... (calls and e-mails were very cordial).
Wondering if I need to call VISA and lodge a complaint...
Oh well.. Caveat emptor

Not good so far, called the actual mall where the busniess is located and they are in fact there and open. Got a different number from the mall staff and tried another call. Brian the owner answered the phone.. I introduced myself and asked how he was doing,, he curtly replyed I'm with a customer... period.... I told him I would call back, he didnt even acknowledge me. Tried calling several times since and the the phone rings and rings (must be using caller id to screen)... no answer. I'm giving them until tomorrow for some response then I'm calling VISA to lodge a complaint and have the charges reversed. Hell of a way to do busniess if you ask me... I would have expected and accepted a reply like this... thanks for calling,, I'm with a customer at the moment, please call back and I'll be glad to talk to you.

With the statements in your posts, you have answered your own questions. Sorry for your luck, but thanks for the heads up. I will not consider them for my purchases.

With that last call you made, I wouldn't wait another day. Screw that. You gave them your business and that's how they treat you? But then, I'm a nasty S.O.B. when I get treated like that.
I hate people like this. There are lots of them out there. I'd definately let VISA handle the problem. Everytime I've had to go that route I was surprised at how easily the credit card companies would give me back my money and unleash hell on the vendor.

Ok.. update
Finally got through... busy people they apparently are. It appears that my order may have been lost in the mail (USPS). The owner is re-shipping another pair. Much nicer demenor this time around...
