Default Picked up Mini Apes Today

I just got home from my local dealer & I purchased some Burley Mini Apes. Now the project begins to change them out, I got new chrome cables & a wire extention kit. Does anybody have in tips on bleeding the brakes when I am done, or tips on doing the wire extentions. Thanks for any tips or helpfull comments.

Stagger the splice spots on your wires about every inch. Use shrink tubing and make sure there are no bare wires. Solder the wires, some people think that is hard, but it's not bad. Take your time, get it right, you can do it ba...................aaaaaahhhhhhh never mind. You can do it, it's not to hard.

If you don't have a bleeder vacuum just keep working it, takes a while. When I did mine I filled the fluid cup put a small tube on the bleeder valve and opened it up then had a beer or six. Gravity did most of the work for me.

Good luck with the switch. With all the tips here you should be fine. I plan on apes of some kind
soon. Just havent found the right ones for a Roadking. Be sure to post pics when you are done.
Exactly what are you putting on? Size, part number, etc....
