Default Installing apes

I have a 2012 FXDC and I was just wondering if anyone had experience with the burly extension kit and if it worked well I was thinking 12" or 14". Thanks guys.

Dont know if these are cheaper that the Burly brand....but Ive used these on 4 sets of internally wired apes and they have never failed me. Same idea as the Burly set, wouldnt even be surprised if this is where they are sourced from.....

I have a 2011 and used narrow 12" apes. I was able to wire internally and use the stock wiring with no extensions.
BTW, the wires were just long enough.

I just put 17" Todd's Cycles Strip Apes on an 09 Street Bob and had enough wiring without extensions.
