Well, this thread has helped me. I always thought any thread you posted in meant you were subscribed to it and that's why members posted "subscribed". However when I wanted to find a thread that I had posted to, Quick Links/Subscribed Threads wasn't finding. So I was having to use My Recent Topics. Didn't know about the Thread Tools menu. So now I know how to subscribe! Yahoo! Now, can somebody enlighten me on the function/reason to subscribe to a thread? Is there a link to instructions for all the other stuff you can access or do in the forum menus?

Well, you were right. Under Thread Tools it looks like I was able to subscribe to this thread without having to post subscribed to the thread.

Huh? I already did...never mind.
