On an rv like that I could see it, but on a regular passenger vehicle I don't even think they'd hold my sporty. Check your local uhaul or similar for a small motorcycle or enclosed trailer.

I had a hitch mount carrier from discount ramps.
2" hitch...heavy duty.

The weight rating was 600#

I am pretty sure that is the highest weight rating available for a hitch mount.

At 600#.....it comes up a bit short for most Harleys.

One of those hitch mount jobs went through my town last year around Sturgis time on the back of an RV. I'm not sure what kind it was but I do know that a few miles outside of town there was a pretty decent Fatboy laying on the highway. I saw the RV sitting at the repair shop later that afternoon. I didn't see what the bike looked like after the tumble.

For one, unless I missed it you didn't tell us what you are driving, or what type of bike you have. My guess is that the whole bumper deal is a no go unless maybe you have a 883 sporty, still probably not an option. Depending on your bike, your best option will probably be to trailer or ride it if you want the bike along. A 5x8 utility trailer isn't very heavy to pull and can be bought for $600 new and cheaper used. It will also have dual purpose if you don't own a pick to haul stuff on.

There are some interesting places/little stops and decent scenery in Oklahoma on 66. Lots of other aresa as well. You won't need to be on a bike to enjoy it. But make sure you stop at Pops In Arcadia. There is also a little bike place (Biker Shack) right by the Round Barn in Arcadia as well.

Coming through Tulsa, Tally's on the Mother Road (11th St.) is decent food; still looks like an old-styled diner.
