Default Ever have bike envy?

Lucky for me I can ride many different bikes just by trading keys. We do it more on long trips where we swap bikes fill-up to fill-up.

But the one bike I really covet is a 1994 FXLR exactly like this pic. Its a stunning classic even though only 18 years old.

For me to not have bike envy would require me to own at least 5 bikes.

No one single one can cover all the things I want, so unless I suddenly become rich I'll always have envy one way or another.

Every time I go into an H-D dealers show room, I say, hmm...........I'll take that Limited for a road trip, I'll take that Fat Boy for a cruise over to the American Legion post, I'll take that Switchback for a day trip, I'll take that Heritage Classic just because I think it's a real looker. Oh, and I'll take that new '72 just because I wasn't riding motorcycles back then and I want to know how it would feel.

Envy - no. Dream a lot - yes.

No, I don't have any bike envy, I have what I want and know it.
Many years ago, when I was under the influence of Harley crack, I did have the envy. I traded my 92 FXR for a 94 Road King and regretted it ( YMMV ) within a year. Lesson learned, no more envy here.
The FXLR is a beautiful bike, I like FXRs.

I love my SG, but I miss having a no-frills chopper. My thought is to build a simple hardtail from scratch, just because I also want to be able to say that I built a bike on my own.

And I definitely want a small run-around bike...but looking at Ducatis for that.
Don't really like 99% of sport bikes but I really like the Monster.

So yea, I'd need at least three.
Maybe a Sporty done up in a cafe-racer style, or a Springer with apes as well...though that's more on the "would be cool" than full on envy list.

I can say that I had bike envy. But I know have a bagger and I have exactly what I want. Because I am able to set it up whatever way I need it. But yeah I use to have the envy pretty bad.

Yeah, every time I see the customized CVO fatboy I wanted. *chuckling* It's the one that got away!

...at least for now...
