Default air reservoir bars

hi to all, new member here from NH. Can I eliminate the air system altogether if I add progressive fork springs and plug the air system?

By "air system" do you mean the suspension?

Had air bars on my '93. Wanted to change the bars but couldn't find +2" air bars. I used regular +2" bars and attached a Schrader valve to the end of the air line that used to attach to the old air bars. I poked the Schrader valve through an unused accessory hole in the nacelle. Not sure if this is an option for you, but if you are just trying to replace the bars and think you have to replace the entire air fork suspension system this is worth considering.

There was a thread about this a while ago that I found.

I am currently stripping down my 1990 FLHS and might do this.

On my '85 FL it was in the crash bar, that's another option if you have one.
