Default Retrofit Water-cooled Mod?

Hi everyone. Of course we are aware that there may be a growing trend to get bikes to "liquify," that is, to be water-cooled. But my Hog is so good I'd hate to sell it, or hate for the value to drop, if the gov decided to outlaw existing air cooled bikes.

In this thead, I don't mean to get into talking about whether or not the Gov would do that. NO POLITICS, please.

Rather, I'm inspired to wonder if there might develop water-cooled systems that could be added aftermarket, a "mod," as my husband would say: Maybe taking a water-cooled system that installs with a bolt-on cuff around the heads or something that would help if water-cooled were ever deemed necessary.

(I do note that, as great as my bike is, in heavy traffic I have been known to wish I had some water-cooling for a while.)

Thanks

You could machine and retrofit water jacketed cylinders on it. Maybe put fins on the outside of it to keep most of the air cooled look.
Then you would need a radiator down the front fork tubes and some kind of water pump to circulate the coolant.
It would probably work but it would take away from the natural look of a Harley.

The best way to cool it and keep the natural looks, is to put an Oil Bud oil cooler on it where it mounts under the frame.

Plus,.. it's a lot cheaper than having someone machine you 2 water jacketed cylinders and the radiator ect. plus labor.
Unless of course you are a machinest.

Have you ever sat in traffic on a water cooled bike? Talk about hot.

Pretty sure my 599cc water cooled Honda runs pretty hot, not comfortable at all, I think the Harley feels better to be honest

Why do people think water cooled machines run cooler?
My ninja ran at 250 degrees all day every day...
