I love these threads. Everybody has an opinion. Before I say too much and start a war, check out what the experts say---- these are people who REALLY know what they are talking about. You may not find the exact answer to the question, but there is enough information to educate yourself to make your own decisions.

I just pull my engine down every 5K miles and soak it in varsol, then sonic clean it at the aircraft repair station down the street. That way, I know it is good n clean....

No plans to use it in the oil, but I do plan to use in the fuel over the winter as a stabilizer for bike, mowers, etc. that may not get run as much as usual.

I mean seriously , what is everybodies love affair with that stuff ? If you had a old car with 300,000 on it the stuff might have a purpose but a new bike in the oil would be as useless as nice **** on a nun .
