Someone left their key in my Verizon Wireless store in Streetsboro Ohio. Just taking long shot and putting this on here maybe its someones here. Keychain has name roger on it. Any way a dealer can find out who it belongs to?

 

Well, although I lost on of my fobs several weeks ago, I wasn't anywhere near Ohio when it happened, so it is not mine.
But kudos to you for trying to do the right thing and help a rider out. Could use a little more of that attitude in the world.

 

If you slide the plastic cover off you will see a key number. Key numbers are tied to VIN numbers. I think Harley maintains the original owner’s name and contact info for recall and marketing purposes.

I am not sure a dealer would make the effort to return the key & fob but you could ask.

 

the dealer can get a key# from the vin, but there is no way they can get the vin off the key.. just hang the key up behind the counter with a sign saying bring in a matching bike to claim it.

Well thing is i have no idea how long its been in our safe i found stuff in it from 2010 Im gunna shoot to the dealer tomorrow see if anything can be done if not *shrugs* oh well
