First time in 2 years she showed any interest. Asked if I had 2 helmets...nope...ordered her one that day! She chose a pink one lol

 

Cool, just start her out slow and don't do anything to scare her.

 

Good for you. Couple of things I'd recomend: Do Not show off. Take it real easy leaning into the twisties.

 

I'll win the lottery twice before that happens to me! Take it easy, no burnouts and wheelies with the wife pls, or you'll blow it

 

My wife don't ride much but... She gets frisky afterwards when she does ride

and yes I bought her a Pink Helmet. Whatever it takes !!!

 

A bit apprehensive about the extra weight of a passenger. Been awhile since any 2 up

 

I hit the jackpot myself........bought my RKC and wife loved to ride but quickly got tired of "being a backrest" so I enrolled her in Riders Edge, she got her endorsement and two weeks later got her own bike. She loves it and constantly wants to ride. She rides to work occassionally but said she feels more comfortable when I ride with her.

Couldn't have orchestrated that better if I tried.......

 

I am just the opposite. My wife wants to ride all the time. It is a rare opportunity if I ride by myself.

 

Me too, but I still remember the first time we went out on the bike together. Great day, the first of many.

 

I'm in the same boat, my wife is finally ready to get on the back. I don't see us taking any long treks but could be a good time. Plus, I won't have to hear her talk about all the home improvement projects she wants to do like when we are in the car.
