Hey Guyz.....I bought a seat for my 2006 softail deuce fxstdi on ebay. the guy said it would fit all softails. but it doesnt. the seat is narrow at the front by gas tank.
Underneath the seat has a metal tag which says # RDW-92/61-0067, looked on internet and says sportster, but there is another number in white stamped ink under seat which says 056849. I cant find this number anywhere.
Problem, i got stuck with a wrong seat, the guy wont take it back so Im out 100 bucks.
I need to find out what this seat will fit.
Does anyone know what these numbers mean?

Go back to ebay and file a SNAD claim. Significantly Not As Described. You pay return shipping, make sure you get delivery confirmation. Ebay / Paypal will force a refund after you can prove it was returned.

The white numbers in ink dont refer to a Harley part number as far as I know.

 

That 61-0067 number is just for the rear chrome tongue. Sellers that don't know what they're selling often fall back on that number and act like it's the seat number.
