I'm waiting on delivery of a 13 CVO Anniversary Road King....not because it's an anniversary model, but because I love the colors and what they've done to the bike to make it exactly what I want my Road King to be like. I plan on keeping it and my CVO Ultra until I'm not capable of riding any more, not as an investment. My wife knew I REALLY wanted this bike and found one and made the deal for me while I was half way around the world, so I think I'll be keeping her also.

FAt Boy Lo Anniversary is MSRP $16800. And not worth a penny more. They can ask whatever they want. It ain't the 90's. And try as they may to go back the genie is out of the bottle. Only a few anniversary/cvo/collectable models are worth more than the same thing in black. I ain't telling you which ones. Go ahead buy that Breakline or whatever they call it for $35k and see what it's worth in five years. I'll bet $15-17k.

The anniversary models have been coming out since the 70's. Every five years. The anniversary party in Milwaukee was originally a fund raiser for MDA. I'm sure they still raise money for MDA but now it's more about the MOCO.

Still a fun time if you go. Just make sure Elton is not the headliner. Hey they could come out with a gold and diamond incrusted pink model and call it the "Harley Headliner" in his honor. $35K anyone?

Yeah....probably better just to get the base model and customize to fit your own tastes. The CVO's that are out for '13 are the same as 2012 just different colors. I have seen them......same old same old.

We had a CVO RK here (red)....it is '12 CVO streetglide without the fairing. I was unimpressed. Same price as before, but no stereo. The speakers are there for listening to an MP3, but none of the other nice advantages of the batwing fairing, like the gauges.

If it works for you, get it....but it's nowhere near good enough for me to even think about.

What did you think when it arrived? I ordered and paid for mine about a month prior to receiving it. Put some V&H 2-1 Pro pipe on it and now it sounds just as good as it looks.
