Just got back from a 100 mile putt and a good chicken fried steak for dinner. Nice evening and we met up with a tour bus full of travelers from Denmark at the dry falls park. The Harley's were like a magnet and the tourists took lots of pictures of my bud and I and the bikes. Had a nice chat with them before heading on down the road.

It has been nice but there's always a price to pay. I started getting the winter feel today when it was overcast and cool all day. We really haven't had any rain to speak of all summer, but I know it's coming.

Me and a friend are already planning some Mt Rainier rides next year as long as my wife's health improves. The summers are amazing up here and the mountains are gorgeous.

It isn't green with tall forests for the lack of rain- we knew the job was dangerous when we took it...

Shhhh, don't tell anyone you figured it out!

We have had a good and long summer though, definitely can't complain about that. The next two months are always the hardest out of the year in my opinion. Constant grey and drizzle, but not cold enough for snow in the mountains for skiing; stuck inside most of the time. I call it by it's more positive name: drinking season

70 yesterday (100 mi. w/ lunch @ Hudson's in Cd'A), 70 today (Thurs.) and tomorrow and then some rain for a couple of days in old Spoke-aloo. Been riding every day I can 'cause it'll end soon when the snow flies.
Great pics there Twisted - recognized everything but the air shot. Things sure look different from the air.

I always encourage visitors to come up here in the winter because it does seem the weather is better while they're here.
