Camera when biking.

If you are talking about a camera in your bags...pack what ever you want. I carry my Nikon digital SLR just about everywhere.
When I save up enough dough for a GoPro, that is what I will be taking as well!

We have a nice little digital that fits easily in a coat pocket. I let my wife take the pictures. Word of advice, use the wrist strap. Learn from our experience.

I have a Olympus that i carry on me or in the bags and a Tachyon OPS HD video camera on the bike. I use the bike camera just in case something happens so i have some proof. The Olympus is waterproof to like 30 feet so the rain won't hurt it and the Tachyon has a cover for it in the rain.

I use a Canon point and shoot all the time and carry it in either a coat pocket or a belt case it came with. I've taken some very cool photos from the bike while on the move, one of them of a friend riding his bike which later burned up in a garage fire. Contrary to those who think it is completely unsafe to do so, I find it is easy to do, just hold the camera where you think it should be and snap several photos. Keep your eyes on the road.
I've also carried my DSLR around in the bags, and had no issues with doing that either, aside from taking up more room than a point and shoot.

there was a vendor in Daytona this past weekend who was selling riding glasses with a camera implanted in them (not visible). I think I have a brochure somewhere which I can post later. Cool idea.
