I go on raw emotion,if it looks good,I buy it.

When I use logic to select a bike after awhile I wish I had gone with my gut.

Motorcycling is my escape from the real world (job,mortage,wife)

 

I had my Honda, the wife was like "no way am I riding on that". 4 out of 5 riding guys at work had RK's so that's what I was looking for. My cousin gave my wife a ride on his Ultra................that was the end of the RK and the rest is history. The EGC is a great bike too

 

Had the exact same problem. I went with the RK because like u I love the looks of the king with apes and that is just how mine is set up. I would have both if i could.

 

Had a 05 Night Train....sold it to help remodel the house me and the OL bought. Few months after we moved in I rode a buddies Street Glide...2 months later i owned one.

 

I was gonna buy a sportie 883, when the wife saw it she said no, if your buying a Harley your buying that one, see below.

The bars in the first picture look like Carlini Gangster Apes...just like mine. Love em

 

Drool, test ride, more drool, wipe face off...test ride again...get a raise.drool a bit more , buy bike....ride...

 

I kinda didn't pick....my friend who rides a street glide turned me on to my bike. I initially wanted a Softail Deluxe.
