How did you pick your bike

Didn't want one but if I was gonna get one it was going to be a Road King Classic in Black. Saw another bike across the showroom floor with the same wide whites and similar flavor to it's look. It was my Deluxe in black pearl with all the goodies. It sat so much better for my build so VOILA - it chose ME.

How did you pick your bike ?
Well after spending 7 days in ICU, at John Peter Smith hospital in FT Worth, Texas because of a major bike wreck, I got to come home. Face reconstructed , with arm and A few ribs broke up and as sore as I could be, I sat down at my computer and went here,

Fairings will just never be for me. I vote RK.
As for choosing....my first ride on a Harley was a buddies new '92 Lowrider. It took me until '04 to get my own. Why I went with a Softail Deluxe over a Dyna I don't know. I loved the look and it worked well as a two-up tourer for my wife and I.
33,000 miles later I still missed the Dyna. In '09 my wife got her own bike...and so did I...'09 Fatbob. No regrets. Well, I'd have kept both if I could have.
