Ok,now back to your question my friend. It cost me $1099 shipped and as soon as I receive the kit I'll let you know about its quality, ease of installation etc.I spoke with other people who have it and I got positive opinions.
There will most likely come a time where I might contemplate installing one, keep us posted on the install.

cheers

Be interesting to see how it works out but I personally don't think have a use for it. I also wonder if it would create more possible problems than have a use for me. Your right. It is your money, your bike, and what you want. A lot of the people apparently don't see the use for it and you didn't bother to explain why you felt the purchase necessary beyond the reasons listed above. Here are my questions. How much will you use it? Do you need it or just want it?

I agree that there have been times that it would've come in handy but for the amount I'll find another place to park. Good luck with the install and I wish you luck!

With my health issues I'll be dead long before I need them.

But, hey, some just need to be able to lighten up. It's all in good fun.

There's been many times where I wish I could just stick it into reverse to get it into the garage.

I have a slope upwards to the driveway, then the driveway slopes down.. like a an upside down V. Takes effort to get it either in or out the garage. I'd rather not sweat it out before or after a ride but I don't have reverse and my bikes only a small harley so I feel for those around my small size and strength with the bigger ones!

Thanks bro. Take some pictures once you get it all set up. I was trying to find a more custom / cool looking shifter but no success. Price isn't terrible. I've paid more for items on my bike now...exhaust system, chrome front end and wheel...list goes on.
