Default Reverse Gear

Today, after much researching, I finally took the plunge and went ahead and ordered the MMD reverse gear, after an hour of talking with Marvin (I think he was the owner) I was sold.I'll post more about this kit as soon as I receive it.

Are you serious? I have never even heard about this stupid chit until just now lol.
I can come up with a lot better ways to spend $1100 on my bike than reverse

What did you pay for it? I thought about doing it as I have a prosthetic foot and it makes backing up with any sort on incline difficult at times. After I saw the $1,500 price tag I said F that, I'll man up.

The usual bunch of idiots who couldn't resist outing.I bought one because:
1)I can afford it!!!I like to spend a lot of money on my bike because.....I can afford it!!!
2)I don't need any justification as why I wanted it.
3)You could post something more constructive that could benefit other Forum members. But I doubt it!

Ok,now back to your question my friend. It cost me $1099 shipped and as soon as I receive the kit I'll let you know about its quality, ease of installation etc.I spoke with other people who have it and I got positive opinions.

Well that's cool. I didn't know they had a reverse gear for normal Harley's.

That probably comes in pretty handy for people that have lost a leg or foot or have serious joint issues.

Anything to keep folks riding.

There have been times when it would have been handy to have. I want to find out how you like the install.

RE:
1) Good for you.
2) My feelings exactly.
3) All they know how to do is trash others so they feel better about their pathetic selves.

Haven't gotten there yet but on my way. It's getting more and more painful to back the bike up a hill and I can see the possibility of a reverse in my future as well.

EDIT....I have bad knees from the kickin the **** outta smart asses when I was younger.

older riders, and those who just don't have the strength to back their bike up an incline, or other parking issues, may need a hand, and don't have somebody to push them. especially with a bagger style bike. by strength, I mean leverage, as in shorter legs ect. if you need it, its nice for it to be there,
