Ace has a fairly good selection. Ask the person at the counter for help. If you want chrome fasteners they are kept under lock and key, usually on the endcap of the hardware isle.

If you can't find them locally, this site should have what you need

If you have an Ace Hardware store they will have them. What i have learned from personal experience is to buy the stainless steel fasteners and polish them on a wheel. Eventualy the chrome ones will rust and are a a poor fit due to the plating.

I bought some chrome hardware and even though it looks good I wasn't entirely happy with it. Guess they polish the head before having it plated and I did find they don't quite fit as well as the oem. I think you have something with the polished SS.

I use the security licences plate bolts that Walmart sells. They are SS and come with the wrench to take them off. I had planned to get a pic of them and haven't done it yet.

They give a spiked look to the cover since they are cone shaped. They are the right thread and length for the cover.

I'll get a pic tomorrow and add to this post.
