id have to say jessie james is the best. from what ive seen he can build anything and build it perfectly. thats why the celebs go to him for custom builds. but then i dont know about all the builders. can anyone compete with jessie?

 

A lot of builders can compete and in most long time riders eyes are better. Jesse is still the "New kid on the block" as far as I am concerned. Ron Simms has been at it for many years but builds a completely different style of bike.

Yea, Exile makes some nice scoots.

 

Kim Suter, Mike Phillips, Jerry Covington, Chica, the late Johnny Chop, have hung out with all these guys and they build some very nice scoot, Paul Yaffee builds some nice scoots as well.

 

Who exactly controls who can call themself a "master builder"? I see this term thrown around a lot, more than would seem possible if it were truly an earned and not self-awarded title. Kind of like every female solo singer is now a "diva".

 

well some rich people (shaquille oneal, undertaker etc) people to whom money is no object and can get whatever they want choose jessie to build there custom ride. that says a lot for him. i think he has earned the title master builder.

 

I can't believe nobodys mentioned Indian Larry.

 

Kind of hard to have a dead guy build you a bike.
