Boy I bet the OP is a ball to be around at parties.

The frustration is understandable but nuking the dealer is just a wee bit over the top.

I see you're new here. Yes, by all means, go there with the attitude you have now & I'm sure they'll bend over backward to help you, to the 'EXIT'!!! Mello out, have a cocktail or smoke a bowl. I suggest you go there with a go attitude & they'll take care of you. Good Luck. Get back & let's know how it works out.

According to EdrikLT's previous posts, he was doing something to change his intake. So who knows, possibly not even him, how secure the cover was attached. It would be interesting to be hear the discussion with the stealer after showing the scooter to the stealer.

To be fair EdrikLT, don't put everything back in stock condition before letting the stealer check it out. Let 'the chips fall where they may'.

Mark, I just realized you discovered this also. I type slow and was distracted by a TV news story about a shooting, that killed 2 LEOs and a civilian and two perps, near a Walmart near my home in Vegas.

Sherlock Holmes strikes again!

You KNOW the OP removed the air cleaner cover and failed to tighten the nut appropriately. He'd would never admit to it, though. I hope he goes in with an attitude and gets shown the door. It would serve him right. He should learn honesty.

Going in ranting like a madman will not help your situation. As others have said, go in and act right and the dealer should take care of you.

Ok ?

The " might " thing is they have to see what happened to make the call and 99.9% chance your golden with the whole deal , going through the door breathing fire will just make you case harder and any service you need from now out isn't to be looked forward to by them , Don't **** where your gonna live till the warranty runs out ..
"Questionable Avatar" is that you???

Seriously, that is some good advice.

OP, simmer down amigo. And were YOU the one messing with the air cleaner?? C'mon man....
