PC 111 Question
For those of you running the power comander what type of fuel mileage did you lose if any? I recently got one set up fuel moto and my mileage has dropped from average 40 mpg to about 35-36 per gallon,Does this seem about right to most of you? Im not complaing cause it sure runs alot better. Just curious
Thanks
Thanks
i got one from them also, i only lost about 3-4 mpg. I am still running about 41-43 mpg now. when I got it, I told jaime that I had a high flow a/c and punched out baffles on my stock pipes, so they put in that download. All was well then and now. I have some cycle shack slip-ons instead of the stockers and still no problems or change in mpg. I think you are good to go, especialy since you're happy with it
I also got my PCIII from fuelmotousa.com, after telling Jamie what my configuration was. Performance increased, but my mileage also dropped to around 30 mpg when cruising at 70-75 mph. After a month or two I had the bike dyno-tuned. The tuner said he was surprised at how close it was, but that it was running a somewhat rich. By the time he was done, performance was vastly improved, and mileage was back up around 40 mpg. For me, the dyno tune was the answer.
