Hard bag won't stay latched ...
Recently the hard bag on the right side of my 2013 Ultra Limited won't stay latched and I'm having to keep it locked
which is a pita as it's the easy one to get stuff in and out of. I've always been careful to make sure the lid is all the
way on before closing it but my better half - not so much so. Any suggestions before I go do business with the stealer?
Tnx in advance.

well do not be so hard on the wife. it is probably bent or out of alignment. if the other side works, use it as a pattern. we built steel guitars and i built many cases and it is usually an alignment issue. btw: you can replace the latch yourself, just need to peel back the lining to get at it, probably riveted, drill out from back side. i believe you can get what you need from tch as that is where i buy my materials.

Tnx guys - this forum has saved me over and over throughout the years. Whether
it's been a seat rebuild with memory foam to clutch cable lube to fork / shock fluid
changes I've been able to set my bike up to suit me. Yeah, sometimes you got to
sift through a few BS artists but this forum is my go to place rather than bother my
Indy mechanic who may or may not be able to help me anyhow.
