Identify this tach/shift light
Hey guys,
New to the forum. Just bought my first HD after 5 years of wanting one. I’m jacked! I got an 07 FXDB and am eager to start making it my own. Starting by selling some add ons that came with the bike. One of them that I can’t completely identify is this shift light. Anyone have one of these or know the model or name of it? I’ve spent probably two hours trying to find it online but haven’t been able to identify it, also can’t find anything on the part. Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome from Spartan Country Michigan!
My suggestions.... get the factory service manual and the parts manual. Both are excellent tool. Get a 3 ring binder and record all your maintenance, service, repairs in this. this will be handy down the road. And lastly, get an app like Fuel Buddy and record all your fuel usage. Know how large your tank is, how far you get on a tank of gas, and don't trust the fuel gage (if you have one). I record all my fuel usage, know how far I can safely get on a tank (use odometer and reset at each fill up) so I should never be in trouble running out of gas!

Found a new-in-box Shift Gauge 74489-04 on eBay for $20 and bought it.
Dunno how I'm gonna use it yet but been wanting a "shift light" because the 120R gets revs real quick.
When opening the packet of wires, connectors etc I discovered the "Installation Instruction" sheet is for a 74507-04 Voltmeter Gauge.
That ain't right.
So I sent the Seller a message and emailed the MoCo asking for a copy of the correct Installation Instruction. Haven't heard back from either yet.
Searched the interwebs and found nothing about the correct Installation Instructions.
Anybody got a lead on Shift Gauge Installation Instructions?
