Question driver backrest bolts on fender

I'm wanting to add a drivers backrest to my '08 Road King Classic, and when I pulled the seat I see two bolts sticking up through the fender. Most of the backrests that I've found, have three places to bolt to. One on each side, and one in front. I wonder if just having the mount connected to just the two bolts will be steady enough ? Input ?

The HD rider backrest attaches to the two bolts and to the front mounting point just aft the battery. Your Road King will have the same mounting point behind the battery. I don’t know what brand you are looking at, but I imagine there are others that use the same three mounting points.
