Dyna Backrest Help
Just got a Custom FXDL, that is mostly wrinkle powdercoated black. I wanted to put a mini or small backrest on and of course have them match, so I found sideplates and backrest on ebay..The problem is....I went to put the sideplates inside the stuts and it is too close to fender for the bolts of the backrest.I can put the sideplates on the outside of the struts,but it takes the width of the backrest bars to +- 9" .Does anybody know which bikes have that +-9" size backrest offhand? It is square tubed also. Thanks for any help!

Can you mount sissybar to plates them bolt plates inside struts? sideplates go inside struts, not on the outside
I switched my sissybar bolts to conical allen, easier to work with allen wrench.
