Hi people
I have asked this before but ill as again,
When tank gets low on gas ( not to point light comes on) my bike couchs and splutter s and dies,, then ill try start and it will run for abit longer then same thing.
Once gas put in tank it sweet as.
Im not going to take bike apart for this issue, but wondering if putting a fuel cleaner through might help, or someone might have a easy fix

Well, sounds like it's going to be in the tank. Pickup tube or pin-hole in the fuel line. Lot of reports on the later.

 

How many gallons is it taking to fill it up?

 

I never recorded it but im almost positive it was around 16 litres,,

 

NO, tank cleaner wont help.

Sounds more like the pin hole problem with that year, went through it.

Gonna have to get into the tank and see what's going on, pin hole or cracked housing is also an issue in there.
Change out that filter too.

 

You see now the problem is i said didnt want to do work but now you guys have made me more interested, in finding problem,, what i didnt say in first post was when it almost died i was about 50 metres from x wifes house and garage was about a mile past her house,, so maybe fix it now so im not in this situation again

 

Sounds like she put a spell on the bike so you would come see her.
