Default Trailer Rental -Help please

I will be moving from NY to GA soon and need some advice. (I am anticipating many responses that say "just ride it", butthat is not an option.) Can one rent a uhaul trailer and put a bike in it? Has anyone here done it? I know on the uhaul website there is a cycle trailer but that is for local rental only; I obviously need a one-way rental. Any other options for companies that may rent a one-way enclosed trailer that would fit a bike.
Thanks.

U-Haul has a slick little open trailer designed to haul bikes, atv's etc. It has a ramp and is a cinch to load. The nose of the trailer is "V" shaped to rest the front wheel in. Get yourself some good ratcheting hold downs, at least (4) I would recomend. Strap it tight enough to slightly compress the suspension and you should be fine.
