Default Looking for '47 Knucklehead Mechanic

Looking for an honest shop/mechanic for my cousin who just inherited a 1947 Knucklehead from his late father-in-law. Bike has been sitting in a garage for 20+ years. Wants to get it running again. He lives in Williamsburg, VA, so somewhere between Richmond and Virginia Beach. Thanks!

I think you'll get a better responce over in the Shovel section... There's guys over there that really know Knuckles and Pans.....

The bike in picture is a 45 c.i. FLATHEAD
NOT a knucklehead

Anything from '46 that looks that good deserves the proper identification and should be given to someone that appreciates its beauty........thats why I've been after Ann Margaret for all these years

Shovel, Knuck, Pan , or Flat.......they're all beauties. Good luck finding a KNOWLEDGEABLE mech, that will treat it with the kindness it deserves.......

Ask him if he'd be interested in trading it for a very nice low mileage EVO Springer. Serious question by the way.

As stated, looks like a 1946 WL, not a Knuckle or even 1947.

On the left hand side under the air cleaner on the engine case is the VIN pad, the # will tell all.

Only guy I know around those parts, if he is not the guy for what you need, he should know someone local, give Jason a call:
