Just got my new to me 1997 Wide glide home and I can't get the gas cap off.
It spins counterclockwise and then just stops.
If I spin it clockwise it feels like it engages something before it stops and then that's it.

Any ideas?

 

If it's been sitting in the sun, get it into the shade and let it cool down, then try.

 

Thanks, I finally got it loose. Apparently I was just not twisting hard enough.
