Sometimes, when I ride my motorcycle, it feels like it has good power, quite good thunder sound is coming, and a lot of pressure on the exhaust. Which is an ideal Harley sound.
But, a lot of days, that kind of sound goes away and the motorcycle feels like has very less power and less pressure coming out of the exhaust and the sound is like a small 125cc motorcycle or like vespa scooter. I heard my exhaust also backfiring once
I observed today that when I start the Harley on neutral gear, it was showing 1720rpm without throttle. I had to leave it ideal running at neutral for 15 minutes to take it to 990rpm. Then i started riding at gear 1 without throttle, it was showing 860rpm. Now i started feeling that its sounding like harley and everythings coming back to good. But if i dont stay it idle for 15 minutes, it doesnt sound
I do not know the reason behind it. Could someone help me understand this situation or if there is anyone who faced this earlier with their harley?
So far, i tried draining engine oil (had turned all black) , putting new oil, changing oil filter but no progress so far. No trouble codes are coming so far
