Default HD T-Bars, help identifying

Wondering if anyone recognizes these 1.25 T-Bars. They have a bar/shield stamped so they appear to be OEM. Mainly curious about a spot on the throttle side. Not sure if it's a dent or by design. It looks too clean to be damage, but I have never seen something like this on handlebars. It's kind of like a step-down before the step-down for the grips, but only on one side. It looks like it's past where the switches would be. Thanks for looking.

Not sure if that is a Bar and Shield. The dent should be for master cylinder clearance. Lots of people made/make similar bars, going to be hard to idea.
