You need to remove that top Philip head screw that is on your triple trees. Then remove your middle bracket from the windshield. Then loosen the clamp on the upper fork and reinstall the bracket to the top triple clamp and the upper fork clamp. Then attach the windshield to that middle bracket. I do think the HD kit would have come with a screw that was a little longer than your stock screw for the top triple clamp. https://serviceinfo.harley-davidson....t/view?id=1203
