A failed first attempt at a universal socket adapter?

It IS interesting though. Obviously, the ball detent hints that it should be a quick disconnect, but to what? (I know, you already asked that question). I'll be watching for an answer as well.

I have a few tools in my box like that, I made them to fit in places that's hard to get to. I have a cut off box wench that I cut off to get to the back exhaust nut That looks it would work for the same with a socket and small breaker bar.

Possibly something for a jack handle extension for a vehicle jack. Some of the ones for my trucks look similar but they are hollow.

Looks like it might have been heated to put the bend in there.

Probably a pre 1984 models cylinder head bolt socket handle with a 3/8″ square drive on both ends. Two different length ends allow access to most cylinder head bolts.

I think @FXD2003Rider is likely right, or at least right-ish. I don't understand them, but I see similar looking tools described as being a head bolt tool for old Harley's.

Obviously a universal doohickey. You have it in the left hand position, flip it over if you are right handed
