Throttle grip is loose. Please help
i fixed my loose throttle grip by loosening the bolt on the break level then pushing it away from the grip this will let the break lever unattached so make sure u hing it back up after doing this.
then loosen the bolts on the throttle grip housing after it has wiggle room push the grip in close to to the bar. The grip may come loose so twist it till it has spring back when the throttle is snug and lined up keep it pushed close to the bars by pressing your chest into the grip while you tighten the bolts back up. You may need to try a few time to get it perfect. I did and it feels and works great now. Then put your break level housing back next to the throttle housing and tighten ot up. Make sure your break s are lined up at the lever there is a notch that needs to be connected for the level to engage Make sure your front breaks work before you go foe a ride....of course. That is how i fixed this problem. If you had this issue that i did that was my fix and mine works and feels tight and has great response.

After weeks of frustration found that the throttle wire had too much slack within the bars, which was pushing the throttle slightly outward... pull the throttle wire tight at the base of the bars.. my problem was solved
Having the same problem. Just had my stock bars replaced today and when I rode off, the grip felt really loose, to the the point that I kept goosing the gas a little with every bump in the road. I circle the block and brought it back. The owner had already left, but one of his guys said it's a simple adjustment and took in the garage. He was back in 5 minutes, and it was better...but not what it was. I didn't have time to go back again today, so I'm heading back down in the morning.
I did a bunch of searching and every post I've read says this is normal, but I know what it felt like before, and this doesn't feel normal to me.

I had the same problem just a week ago on my CVO Triglide after i installed new Chubby handlebars so i went into my cad and designed a stepped shim to install in the end of the TBW sensor then printed it on my 3D printer, worked like a charm. I had to print 3 of them till i got it just right and now i have about 3 thou clearance which you don't even feel and it's just enough so that the throttle doesn't stick.
Thanks
