speakers
I just went through this last weekend seeking help for adding tunes to my 01 Heritage. Check out a company on E-Bay called Two Wheeled Tunes. They have a set up specific for a Road King think it runs about $400 for everything. I'd give you the link but last time I did that it stretched the web page out about a block and a half. You can also look under the Softail section on page two. That's where my psot was with some of the links. Hope this helps.
I have a set from Uniq Cycle Sounds http://www.uniqcycle.com/proddetail....pkrs&cat=1that include a small amp, speakers, mounts and wiring. I ended up putting the amp in the left bag and wired it to the aux switch connection so I can turn it on and off with the switch.
I have found that above 50-55 MPH you need to crank up the volume pretty good to hear them. I use a Garmin Zumo GPS which has MP3 and XM as the input.
Best part they only cost about $280.
