Ideas for a trip around Wisconsin
Is there any places you want to go? Riding up the river on west side back and forth from MN and WI is nice. 33 and 60 are nice west of 94, that may be seperate weekend trip for you.
I think you can have a good time just criss and crossing northern WI on whatever highway gets you where you want to go. If you go UP there a few different routes I might take, mostly state highways following along the big lakes.
Hurley is always fun. But you can decide that route pretty easy, based on how what size road you want to take.
Kettle Moraine can be nice day ride maybe, for you. I like the northern. But once in awhile will stop oin Knuckleheads in Eagle not all the far from IL. Hogg Alley near oconomoc used to have a massive bacon cheeseburger, not all the at far from IL/WI border. Dundee is fun town gets some bikes. Roadhouse usually has a band sunday afternoon. But as far as northern WI, tons little country bars. just stop at one.

For Wiscons, just pick the city you want, take a state highway, I think we need a destination before we can give any fine tuning. Every area has to short little ride everyone likes. Is it worth it? West side does have more winding valley, pick on road to get where you want, they are all ok. Up north wooded, one pine tree looks the same. You got the roads down the river.
Lake Michigan is so-so for riding on. Sort of in and out, threw towns, IMO not overly worth it. I do it when hot out in the summer,
You have M35 out of Menominee, alone lake MI, but I am not sure if you are going to UP. Couple years ago when I rode that lots of small trees had grown up, blocking view. But again it is a state highway.
What towns do you want to go to? Hurley is fun for bars and strip bars Down to 6 strip bars last time I was there., not sure if motel on silver street is still open. As far as food, when you are hungry go eat, I am not sure anything is worth being hungry for so can ride 2 more hours, cause some guy said they had great food.

Do you have any towns you want to hit or stay at? Though I have had some greatest times winding around and stopping when time is right. Steer away from dark clouds.
Though having a side of state would help. Up 94, get off portage area, up 43 get off 60,33 or up to 8, then go west.
41 then 45 north,stay 45 or take 10.
Play by ear based on rain too

one thing we are going to try is to stay off the interstate. Only want to use those if there isn’t a reasonable route around.
Syl's in Ontonagon is nice family restaurant. I get hot beef. Check out stubbs bar, it is something to see. Make a point.
You could go up 45 if on that side of state. 28 East West. 26 out of Houghton.
Once you get to UP, and much of Northern WI, roads will be limited.

I'll be doing 47 to 22 cut off in Cecil on R to 64/32 through Townsend, wabeno, mountain, 8 then north on 139 to iron river.
Forest highway 16 is nice ride, but it gets so rough on the stretch north of 28 I would not take it. Go around to baraga and take 38 to 26, or 28 to waters meet and north on 45
