Lol... One of my old platoon mates has been trying to get me up there for a few years... Never seems to be enough time though... 13000... Wow... That's a big jump... Probably wouldn't recognize the place now... Though the base is probably still the same... I do remember the cold... But there was almost no wind the entire winter I was there... The northern lights were spectacular though...

Northerns will be starting their nightly show again shortly as the temp starts to cool, been great so far this Sept though. Some years i can get afternoon rides in until Mid Nov but most years it's Halloween and done!

If you have a buddy up here that has sport bike riding friends I have a sweet, premo R6 Yamaha for sale with Pirelli's and extra's.
Owner is in training for the GHAN so the bike will sit for 18 months or more.

Evry once in a while we get the lights here, but not often enough... I still have cousins up there too in Cherry Grove... Probably won't get up there this year... But I am determined to get a real vacation next year... As for the bike... I will let Roxi know... She doesn't ride... But she knows a lot of young ones who do... Between bikes and fast cars, what else is there to spend your money on when you live in the barracks!

Well i ordered my Andrews 30T front belt pulley..
Got the SE spring for the clutch .
Now to order a Rekluse Pressure plate.
Then onto a SE Compensator.
Winter project that i cant even do till after june 2010.......lol damn warranty

I can get a pretty good deal from hd on the new cams they got this year..
New grinds from SE..
Gonna check it out friday or saturday.
Pulley came in and on to the pressure plate now.
