Hey hatchetman, I'm in Campbell River.

Sounds like everyone here is getting their winter projects lined up. Me, I'm looking at a new set of bars, a new windshield, a K&N to replace the SE filter, a round a/c cover and just maybe a set of V&H duals to match my Oval slipons. I'll need a fuel tuner with that setup but haven't decided on which one yet.

I could use a set of bags. Haven't decided on hard or soft. Probably get some throw over bags and see if I like them

I'll need to get my front brakes done. Other than that, I'll be adding chrome neck covers, chrome tail light cover, chrome visors for all the lights, and also looking for a 100th anniversary derby cover. Some will go on the old christmas wish list. I've been very very good this year

Anyone a member of the VI HOG group? Are you going to the Christmas party on Nov. 29th? I just joined in the past few months and don't know any members. Got the invite and would like to go with my wife. Wondered if any of you are going. It would be nice to know someone, even if it's just from the boards.

Hey Neil, I'm hoping to go. I just mailed off my Canada HOG application last week so not sure how long they take. As soon as it gets done, then I can get the local membership, hopefully in time for the party. If it happens, then I plan to go. I have a bunch of friends who will be going so if it happens, we can hook up and I can introduce you.

That sounds good. I'll be stopping into Drane's sometime this week (if a part comes in) and sign up for the party.

Some nice weather these few days. Hope you all can get out and ride for at least an hour or so while the sun's shining. Its all I can do lately to take my mind off things as the economy seems to be heading south. Hope this winter is a short one.
