Anyone planning a trip to Sturgis this summer? How long will it take to ride there?

Confirming that the 24th annual swap meet will be in Coombs on hwy 4a at the rodeo grounds on the 29th of March. usually a good turnout & lots of stuff up for sale if your lookin for a good deal on parts, leather etc. I will be there rain or shine!

No plans to go to sturgis for me. Looks like a 2k ride from Abbotsford. You'd get pretty close the first day and within strikin distance the second day. Hwy 20 is a nice ride. A couple of state parks along the way

btw my kids looking for a bike. Any leads here on the island appreciated. Maybe a dual sport but any interesting bike would be considered. Older sporty or Kawi 900/1000. Any British bike. Something not too $$

Thanks for those. I'll take a look. Just been checking craigslist. Seems most of the deals are over in Vancouver. There are a couple interesting ones near here

If your lookin for some fly fishin' on vancouver island, This guy might be able to give you some good locations. He has a shop here called Nile creek fly shop. his number is 250-757-2095. I havn't met the guy but He aparently knows his stuff! His shop is here in Bowser, North of Nanaimo & south of Courtenay in the middle.

Took my first run of the season today. It rained pretty hard but the bike ran great. But my radio came on by itself. I couldnt turn the volume down, could not turn it off & could not change channels so I think it's possessed. She's good n dirty now but it was nice to ride it after a long down time & a bucket load of new parts!

Hello all, just finished plowing our fuel cardlock after yesterdays 10 cm snow fall, ran a dinky litle Bobcat as we are really watching OT with the yard hands, damn economy. Today at least is very sunny and the sun has long hours and good strength, the temp is -10 but the pavement and concrete is melting...........gittin' closer! Nice to associate with other like minded people, hoping to cross bike paths someday!
