Hi All - new Nightster owner from down-under

Damn guys, this page is quite for being the middle of winter....

after my first week of riding my 2008 nightster, i could'nt be happier. I have ridden a little over 500 miles and going for a big ride on saturday around 350 miles or so. I was worried about rode bounce because everybody kpt saying " oh you won't like sportster, they are tiny with zero power on the climb. Now i look at those people and think " damn are they just stupid or what?" I will post a photo to show the color it is magenta and black.

Well folks, Finally got my Iron Butt Paper work in. I made it 1000 miles in less than 24 hours. I may be trying for 1500 in 36 hours in May. Haven't done much to the bike lately but keeping clean, and changing the fluids. Ride safe and Ride free. Later

Went for the first road trip through the mountains here in Alaska. Snowed a little but sunny for the most part on either end of the trip. I added a photo up top of the rest stop with the mountains in the back. Notice the MSR bottle electrical taped to the sissy bar damn peanut tanks dont hold much fuel. Wanted to get a photo of the snow mobile that was parked right next to us on parking lot but he took off before i could. Good ride though, hope it warms up here soon. Missin that sun!
