Has anyone here mounted a Sirius radio to their RG? If so how and where did you mount it?

Just got mine paid off. She's all mine now. And I got to ride 1,300 miles over the last week in FL.

hey all 09 rg here from az. left chicago about 9 months ago i wish i could have left there a long time ago. its all terry1955s fault that i am here he had me rent a rg a few months ago and it took about 10 minutes on the road and well here i am.

I just got my 09, am looking forward to a lot of miles on it. Hope to do a lot of traveling with it.

To my RG brothers, I have an issue. I switched my long antenna for a J&M short antenna and now the FM is great but the AM now picks up my engine through the radio. What's up? I think someone told me that this was common in cars years ago and there was a filter or something that would solve the issue. If that is true, where can I get it?

I didn't know folks still listened to AM radio. I think what you'd need to eliminate the engine noise is a resistor, but where you'd need to put it is unknown to me.

I listen to AM radio for local traffic going to work in ATL. I think I have to go to Autozone to pick up the part.

Has anyone gone with the Klockwerks windshield? I had one once but because of my height and the fact that I go on road trips on the RG, I actually prefer the stock windshield vice the Klockwerks. I suppose if I go bar hopping that the aforementioned would be better or at least look better than the stock.

Just traded my 08 Fat Bob for a 08 RG 105th edition and I'm looking to put a tour kit on it. I've been pricing it and WOW! Any one know how to cut cost on this job?
