Sold the Street Gilde and now have a Road Glide, Love it, currently turning it into a Ultra.

Good morning all
I just joined and wanted to ask some opinions.
I once rode a RK with 16 inch apes. I traded for a RG. Never changed the bars because MoCo said that you can't if you have abs.
Now with my 2011 I can. Don't know if I want 16 inch apes again on this style bike.
Can anyone who has changed to the heritage bars give me a hint as to whether it was alot of problems to change. I got a week after Christmas to get it done.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello all. Just bought my first touring bike in July 2010. Rode 3 different heritage softails and a sporty before that. No ride like a road glide. I was gonna get the street glide. Glad my dad let me ride his 04 road glide. That cemented my decision.

Happy New Year. I picked up a 2003 Road Glide just before Thanks Giving. Has 7000 miles on it, the Screaming Eagle 95" upgrade, performance exhaust. Have been out on it a few times and so far love it. Just looking for other RG owners to compare notes with. I think the first order of business will be better lighting, then a frame brace but other than that I am a happy guy
