It got COLD in Daytona Sunday! Down in the 30's! Im home now tho...still snow on the ground around here

How was Daytona Jeff? Looking forward to making a trip down there some day. I think you guys will warm up like us too this weekend, so it will great riding weather!

Daytona was awesome as always...got cold on Sunday though...83 on Saturday, and 58 on Sunday...but it was a good time...

Great! I definitely need to make that trip. Before when I rode, I rode metric bikes, so never had the nerve to ride down. Will definitely make a point to go though.

scratch , my best was 186 mph ... My only claim to fame is I was one of the last to race Elmer Trett before he was killed .. Hey what the hey in woodstock today with them kids ??

I've seen Elmer race many times in Fl. and Ga. He was a great person and is missed.. Them boy's on the Top Fuel Bikes have my respect. When I was racing the one to beat was Ronnie Soxx in the Funnybike class. I had a few friends that worked at MTC. in Cocoa, Fl. back in the days.

I don't get it with the kids today stealing guns from their parents and taking them to school to get rid of them. That high school is 5 miles from where I live, the cops were everywhere yesterday morning looking for more guns around the school.

Elmer was a class act on and off the track .. If it wasnt for him TF and bike drags for that matter wouldnt be at the level they are today .. It liked to killed him to start running them jap motors .. His shop wasnt too far from was it ??
